December 31st, 2004
My last reviews of the year are for the movie
A Christmas Carol, starring
Patrick Stewart, and the Star Wars graphic novel
Darklighter. I hope 2004 was a good year,
and that our entry into 2005 will be even better. HAPPY
NEW YEAR!
December 28th, 2004
Two short movie reviews have been added to the site this evening: the
extended edition of The Return of the
King, as well as the TV version of
Mission to Mars.
December 20th, 2004
I have added my reviews for the Tolkien book
The Lost Road, as well as a short
third-time review for the movie
Shakespeare in Love. MERRY CHRISTMAS,
everybody!
December 7th, 2004
I have reviewed the science fiction novel
The End of Eternity, as well as my second short review of the animated movie
Aladdin.
November 28th, 2004
I have a couple of very short repeat-reviews today, for the Star Wars graphic novel
Union (the second time), and the movie
The Fellowship of the Ring (the seventh time).
November 21st, 2004
Today I have posted my review of the final New Jedi Order novel,
The Unifying Force. In the spirit of
clearing up space for book reviews, I have removed 50 movie pages that had
one-line or one-paragraph reviews. I felt that these pages did not contribute to
the website, and simply took up space. I should be able to fit 25-30 new book
reviews into that space, as web space is a premium on these free hosting sites.
Most of the movies were from the Fiction
section. I have given up new movie reviews altogether, now. I just don't have
the time anymore. I will continue to update the movie pages if I watch one that
already has a review on this site, but the only new movie review expected to be
posted is Revenge of the Sith, in May.
November 15th, 2004
I have posted my review for the second-to-last New Jedi Order novel,
The Final Prophecy.
November 6th, 2004
I am finally up to date, with my review of the Star Wars graphic novel
Rite of Passage.
October 29th, 2004
I have posted my review of Arthur C. Clarke's
The Sands of Mars.
October 23rd, 2004
My review of the SF novel Bloom is now
available. I've also tweaked the Star Wars
timeline a little, dispersing the Early Republic comics and the Jedi Quest
books over several years, hopefully more in line with their actual dates.
October 17th, 2004
I have added the review for The City and
the Stars. I also created a guide page for
Star Wars comics showing the relationships between the individual comics and
the graphic novel collections. They started out easy enough, but have become
quite complicated more recently.
October 11th, 2004
It's been a while since I actually watched this movie for the second time,
but I have a few brief comments on The
Perfect Storm. I also have reviewed the DVD version of
Return of the Jedi.
October 5th, 2004
I have reviewed a fantasy book, The
Arm of the Stone, as well as The
Empire Strikes Back, on DVD.
September 29th, 2004
Two more reviews makes September the busiest month this year for this
web-site! I have the Star Wars graphic novel
Outlander, for the second time, and the movie
Star Wars: A New Hope, finally on DVD.
September 23rd, 2004
I have four new reviews today: a movie:
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's
Stone, a mini-series: Dune, a Star Wars
book: The Hunger, and book 1 in the
Dragonriders of Pern: Dragonflight.
September 16th, 2004
Two book reviews were added today, both from the Star Wars Galaxy of Fear
series: Doomsday Ship, and
Clones.
September 11th, 2004
Two more reviews tonight: my second viewing of the movie
10 Things I Hate About You, and the Star
Trek DS9 novel Lesser Evil.
September 6th, 2004
I have added two book reviews today: the Star Trek Gamma Quadrant book 3
Cathedral, and a semi-non-fiction book:
A Tolkien Bestiary.
September 2nd, 2004
This has no bearing on the website, but I submitted the final copy of my PhD
thesis this afternoon. I only have to get my diploma, and my title becomes Dr.!
HA!
August 22nd, 2004
Two more reviews today: the Star Wars graphic novel
Last Stand on Jabiim, and my second
look at the movie Gladiator.
August 11th, 2004
I successfully defended my PhD thesis this morning. It's finally over!
August 8th, 2004
No original stuff for today's update: My full review of Asimov's
Nemesis, for the second time, and my quick
review of the movie Pearl Harbor, also
for the second time.
July 25th, 2004
I have three reviews today, a record for this year so far! I have full
reviews for the SF novel Deepsix, the
Clone Wars Short Story Collection,
and for the musical concert The Lord of the
Rings Symphony.
July 17th, 2004
I have added another brief review to my second viewing of
The Patriot.
July 8th, 2004
I have added a review of the fantasy novel
Well of Darkness, and of the
director's commentary for The Two Towers
movie.
June 26th, 2004
So what's with the new sidebar to Tripod web sites? Can they find no other
less intrusive ways for advertising? Anyway, speaking of the mundane, here is my
review of the fantasy novel Wind in the
Stone.
June 23rd, 2004
A review of the Sword of Truth novella
Debt of Bones was posted this afternoon.
June 15th, 2004
I have two reviews today: the Star Wars: Force Heretic novel
Reunion, and my first movie review since
Return of the King: Harry Potter and
the Prisoner of Azkaban.
June 4th, 2004
I have posted my review of the Star Wars: Force Heretic novel,
Refugee.
May 31st, 2004
This one has been a long time coming: the Star Wars graphic novel
Victories and Sacrifices.
May 25th, 2004
My first big review since writing my 234 page thesis comes in the form of
the New Jedi Order novel Force Heretic I:
Remnant. I also posted some additional, short comments, for my most recent
viewing of the movie Ever After.
May 20th, 2004
I have two movie re-reviews today, which are really just quick comments on
my second time viewing Save the Last
Dance, and Along Came a Spider.
Some book reviews will follow shortly.
May 15th, 2004
I'll be back really soon with more reviews, but I've been rather busy for
the last several months. I finally submitted my PhD thesis yesterday afternoon!
Combined with a new baby in the house, things have been really hectic, to say
the least. Today, I've added two guide pages (no reviews yet) for Star Wars
books: Republic Commando: Hard Contact,
and Medstar: Jedi Healer.
April 11th, 2004
I've reviewed the Discworld fantasy comedy novel
Lords and Ladies.
March 30th, 2004
One book review this time around, the Star Wars Jedi Council graphic novel
Leviathan, and one movie review,
Tomb Raider. Both are reviewed for the
second time, so the reviews are rather short.
March 23rd, 2004
I have a new book review: God Emperor
of Dune, as well as some short new thoughts on
American Pie 2.
March 14th, 2004
It's been a while, but I've finally seen
Return of the King for a second
time! Here are some new thoughts.
March 10th, 2004
I have added the guide pages to some future Star Wars books: Boba Fett's
A New Threat, the Clone Wars novels
The Cestus Deception and
Jedi Trial, and three Republic graphic
novels: Rite of Passage,
Victories and Sacrifices, and
Last Stand on Jabiim.
March 6th, 2004
I have given some brief thoughts to my second viewing of
The Mummy Returns, as well as a new
review of the Star Wars Clone Wars graphic novel
The Defense of Kamino.
February 27th, 2004
I hope to write more reviews than two a month in the future, but for now,
I've enjoyed another Star Trek film on DVD,
The Undiscovered Country. I will
eventually review Star Trek V, but have no intention of owning it, so it will be
a while.
February 15th, 2004
It is definitely difficult to read a long novel, or watch a complete movie
with a newborn infant in the house. We can sometimes manage up to an hour at a
time. I am not currently reading any books, but I have managed to sneak in a few
movies. The only one I have reviewed is Star Trek IV:
The Voyage Home on DVD. As I've mentioned
below, new movie reviews will be rare on this site from now on, with only
my very favourites (or to complete a series) being added. Whenever I get around
to my next book, it will also make it on the site. I'm not going offline yet,
just slowing down!
January 30th, 2004
I've added some thoughts to my second reviews of the Star Wars graphic
stories Prelude to Rebellion and
Vow of Justice. I also added the guide
page for the newly-announced Fool's Bargain
e-book.
January 25th, 2004
Reviews for the last two regular Jedi Apprentice books are up:
The Only Witness, and
The Threat Within.
January 19th, 2004
Reviews may be more and more erratic, since the birth of my son (our first)
on January 14th, 2004. Welcome to the world, Andre. Today, I have two more Jedi
Apprentice reviews, The Death of Hope,
and The Call to Vengeance.
January 12th, 2004
I couldn't resist any longer, and had to watch
The Two Towers extended version again.
My thoughts are accompanied by a discussion on the special features. My first
book review of the year goes to the Jedi Apprentice novel
The Ties that Bind.
January 4th, 2004
My first review of the new year isn't really a full-fledged review, just
some thoughts as I watched Jurassic Park
for the sixth time.
December 31st, 2003
The last update of the year contains thoughts on my third viewing of the
movie Notting Hill, as well as a full
book review of Isaac Asimov's Pebble in the
Sky. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
December 24th, 2003
Two new reviews today: the Star Wars comic
The Devaronian Version, but more
importantly, the movie version of The
Return of the King! Merry Christmas to
everybody!
December 21st, 2003
Today I've added my reviews for Star Trek
Nemesis on DVD, and the Tolkien book
The Shaping of Middle-Earth.
December 8th, 2003
I've had a lot of trouble connecting to the site to upload stuff recently,
followed by emergency hospitalization, from which I am recovering.
So I have a bit of new stuff today, which I've been trying to post for several
weeks... I added another short review for
The Fellowship of the Ring (my
sixth!), some comments on the extended version of
The Two Towers, as well as adding a few short words about the special features of the
Indiana Jones Trilogy (linked below). Finally, my review for the Clone Wars
novel Shatterpoint is also available.
November 17th, 2003
I've finally reviewed the Indiana Jones Trilogy on DVD, but without the
special features (yet). Here are Raiders
of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and
the Temple of Doom, and Indiana
Jones and the Last Crusade!
November 11th, 2003
My review for the Star Trek novel This
Gray Spirit is finally available!
November 7th, 2003
I've reread the Darth Maul comics, and
put up some second impressions.
November 2nd, 2003
I have three more reviews today: The Lion
King on DVD, Star Wars: A New Hope (still
on video -I hope the rumors about a DVD release by next Christmas are true), and
the live production of Mamma Mia! As with
movies, this will effectively close down the live section, as far as I know. I
think most of what I will be seeing from now on are children's productions,
anyway...
October 23rd, 2003
I have three reviews tonight: Star Trek Mission Gamma novel,
Twilight, as well as the movies
Tomb Raider 2: Cradle of Life and
The Matrix Reloaded. These will likely
be the last new movies reviewed on this site. I am running out of time,
and would rather focus on books, anyway. I will continue to update movie reviews
for those that already exist on this site, whenever I re-watch them. Of course,
I will continue to review new (or old) Star Trek, Star Wars, Harry Potter, The
Matrix and Lord of the Rings movies when they come out. In general, however, the
movie sections are now closed.
October 18th, 2003
My short revisit of Mission:
Impossible 2 is now available.
October 10th, 2003
A short review of the non-fiction book
Bad Astronomy has been posted.
October 4th, 2003
Two brief movie reviews, for repeated viewings:
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and
the V TV series premiere.
September 30th, 2003
The review of the Dragonlance fantasy novel
The Soulforge is now available.
September 27th, 2003
The review for the comic tale The
Stark Hyperspace War is now available.
September 21st, 2003
Two reviews for today: the fantasy movie
Spirited Away, and the fantasy novel
Legacy of the Darksword.
September 16th, 2003
I have posted my review of the SF movie Signs.
September 13th, 2003
My new (somewhat scathing) review for Shadows of the
Empire, the novel, is now available.
September 11th, 2003
It was two years ago that I was supposed to see Stomp live, but of course,
nobody was in the mood to either watch or perform a rousing show that night. It
seems strange that two years later, to the week, I saw the IMAX film produced by
the people who made Stomp. Here is the very short review for
Pulse: A Stomp Odyssey.
September 7th, 2003
I decided to watch the director's audio commentary for
Attack of the Clones. I don't know
what is up with the banners on this site, now. There appear to be advertising
banners at the top and bottom of the page! At least most of the pop-up ads have
disappeared, I guess...
September 3rd, 2003
I have reviewed the New Jedi Order short story
Ylesia, as well as one of the Young Indiana
Jones adventures, The Phantom Train
of Doom. I have decided to split up the Boba Fett short story
Salvage from the TPB where it was
included, Enemy of the Empire. Not
that I wanted more web pages, but I thought, since it was a separate tale, with
different authors and artists, it deserved its own page. I also split the
"recent updates" page in two for 2003. Older updates from this year can be found
here.
August 31st, 2003
My review for The New Jedi Order novel
Destiny's Way is now available.
August 24th, 2003
The last two reviews, which allow me to be temporarily caught-up! The SF
book Obernewtyn, and
Boba Fett: Enemy of the Empire, for
the second time.
August 20th, 2003
Three more reviews, and I am almost caught up! I watched
V: The Original Mini-Series again, this time
on DVD, and I finished Isaac Asimov's SF book
The Currents of Space. Finally, I went
to see Miss Saigon, live, and decided it
merited a short review.
August 15th, 2003
Now quite recovered from that massive power blackout, but since I can't go to work,
I thought I should catch up on some reviews. Today I have a fantasy movie,
Labyrinth, revisited, and my first
viewing of the SF movie X-Men United.
August 9th, 2003
Today brings a science fiction book review,
Probability Moon, followed by a science
fiction movie review, Terminator 3:
Rise of the Machines.
August 6th, 2003
Two reviews today, of older movies: Star
Trek Generations, and the original
American Pie.
August 1st, 2003
My reviews for the ninth Star Wars: Galaxy of Fear novel,

My review for the excellent
Apollo: The Race to the Moon, is now available.

I have revisited Robin Hood: Prince of
Thieves on DVD.
July 2nd, 2003
The review for the final book of the Icewind Dale Trilogy,

as is the movie review K-Pax.
June 26th, 2003
Two more reviews, the movie The Mummy,
revisited, and the Star Trek: The Next
Generation Companion book.
June 22nd, 2003
Now available are the IMAX movie review
Adrenaline Rush, and book 2 of
the Icewind Dale Trilogy, Streams of
Silver. I have also completed my review of the last bits of the
Right Stuff DVD special features.
June 18th, 2003
Two more reviews tonight: The graphic novel
Mara Jade: By the Emperor's Hand, revisited, and the DVD for
The Right Stuff.
June 15th, 2003
Two SF movie reviews today, both revisited on TV:
Star Trek: First Contact, and
The Matrix.
June 12th, 2003
The reviews for the fantasy novel The
Crystal Shard, and the SF mini-series
Children of Dune, are now available.
June 2nd, 2003
The short review for the first X-Men movie,
revisited, is now up.
June 1st, 2003

May 26th, 2003

The reviews for the third Star Trek movie,
The Search for Spock, and Isaac Asimov's
first Galactic Empire novel, The Stars, Like
Dust, are now available. It was also announced yesterday that -finally- the
Indiana Jones movies are coming to DVD
this November!
May 4th, 2003
Two reviews have been posted today: the SF movie
Battlefield: Earth, and the Live
musical of Anne of Green Gables. I also

The Moment of Truth, as well as the
last New Jedi Order novels, The Final
Prophecy and The Unifying Force
(with preliminary artwork only).
April 29th, 2003
I have reviewed the wonderful dramatic movie about sailing, called
Wind.

Two more Jedi Apprentice reviews, books 10 and 11
The Shattered Peace, and
The Deadly Hunter.
April 12th, 2003
The first of five new Star Wars Jedi Apprentice reviews is now up:
The Fight for Truth. I also added the
guide page for the newly announced Young Boba Fett novel:
Hunted.

to the Future movies (Part I and Part
II) are now available.

the guide pages for Jango Fett: Open Seasons
and Legacy of the Jedi.
March 25th, 2003
Another IMAX double-feature, in Ring of Fire
and Jane Goodall's Wild Chimpanzees.
March 22nd, 2003
I just love long books, especially if I can keep myself from reading them
too quickly. Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth novel
Faith of the Fallen was well worth
the time spent on it, and the very long review.
March 11th, 2003
The reviews for the movies Robin
Hood (the Disney animated version), and
Stargate (on DVD) have been added to the site, as well as a revisit to the
Star Wars X-Wing comic Mandatory
Retirement.
March 6th, 2003
The review for the comedy/fantasy novel
Witches Abroad is now on-line. The
guide page for my next novel, the Sword of Truth book 6:
Faith of the Fallen, is also
available.
March 3rd, 2003
An IMAX double-feature: Bears, and some more
notes on Space Station! I also removed the
Columbia tribute, hard as that was to do. It has only been a month, but with the
new modifications to the site, I am anxious to return to its original state. My
mind still goes with Columbia, however.
February 23rd, 2003
I reread the Jedi Council: Acts of War
graphic novel, and added a few comments to my previous review. I have also added
an alphabetical listing of all the books
available on this site.
February 21st, 2003
My lengthy review of The New Rebellion

DVD is on-line.
February 4th, 2003
My review for the New Jedi Order novel
Rebel Stand is now on-line.
February 3rd, 2003
My heart broke on Saturday February 1st, when I saw the break-up of the
space shuttle Columbia on landing approach, as it did back in 1986 when
Challenger exploded. The images were a lot more subtle this time, especially
after 16 successful days in space. I was numb and pretty much speechless for
most of the day, and I still can't think of suitable words for this tragedy. My
heart goes out to those closest to the seven astronauts. As they have said, may
the dream of space travel continue.
I'm watching Star Wars: Episodes I and II back-to-back. The review for my sixth viewing of The Phantom Menace is now available.
January 31st, 2003
The review for the Star Wars: New Jedi Order novel

My review of the SF book Dust is finally
available.
January 20th, 2003

announced at the Star Wars web site, A
Forest Apart.
January 15th, 2003
The review for The Phantom Menace
graphic novel is now available.
January 12th, 2003

Rouge -I can't get enough of that movie!
January 7th, 2003
The review for the SF novel A Fire Upon
the Deep is now available.
January 5th, 2003

Gables 3, the Continuing Story on DVD, as well as the Director's commentary
and Appendices of The Fellowship
of the Ring extended DVD.
January 3rd, 2003
Welcome to 2003! My first review of the year belongs to the new Star Trek
movie: Nemesis.
December 31st, 2002
I have finally finished my review of The
Two Towers, part 2 of the Lord of the Rings. I also included the guide page
for the SF novel I am currently reading, A
Fire Upon the Deep, which I likely won't be finished until early January,
which means this is likely the last update of the year. Happy New Year
everybody!
December 23rd, 2002
I have reviewed the Christmas movie
The Preacher's Wife, and the live Leahy
Christmas Concert. Merry Christmas to everybody!
December 21st, 2002
My review of the movie Forrest Gump
is available, as well as what will probably be me last book review of the year
(only because I'm likely to be too busy to read much in the next week), the
Galaxy of Fear Book 6: Army of Terror.
December 17th, 2002
I have four new reviews tonight: two Galaxy of Fear books:
The Nightmare Machine, and
Ghost of the Jedi, as well as a
Republic graphic novel, Darkness, and the
latest Harry potter movie, Chamber of
Secrets.
December 13th, 2002
Another Galaxy of Fear review is up, for
Planet Plague.
December 11th, 2002
Going through the first six book of the Galaxy of Fear series means I really
have to keep up with the reviews! The second book,
City of the Dead, has now been
reviewed. I have also finally written my review of the IMAX film
Space Station.
December 9th, 2002
I have started reading the Star Wars Galaxy of Fear books, starting with
Eaten Alive.
December 5th, 2002
I have added a note on my re-visit of the mini-series
Jack and the Beanstalk. Also,
the review of the short story collection

Les Miserables.
November 25th, 2002
I have reviewed two books: Deep Space Nine's
Avatar, Part 1, and the Star Wars graphic novel
The Hunt for Aurra Sing.
November 21st, 2002
The reviews for Attack of the Clones
on IMAX, and yet another viewing of
The Fellowship of the Ring on
DVD! Also, I have added a few titles to the Star Wars Timeline, in the Jedi

The Shadow Trap) and Clone Wars sections,
as well as the final titles to the New Jedi Order (but no covers, yet).
November 18th, 2002

The Lays of Beleriand. Also, I have
added two pages of Star Trek books, Avatar 1
and Avatar 2, which I will be reading next.
The Star Wars Timeline has been updated for the first time in a long time, with
the guide pages for the Clone War novel
Shatterpoint, the Young Boba Fett novel
Maze of Deception, and new covers for
the other two Boba Fett novels.
November 17th, 2002
Two more movies today: the SF spoof Galaxy
Quest, and the extended DVD version of
The Fellowship of the Ring
(finally!).
November 11th, 2002
I have made up my mind to update pages for movies that are already present
on this site, like my latest viewing of the James Bond film
The World is Not Enough. However,
the only new movies added to the site will be either SF, Fantasy, or five
stars, at least until I run out of space here at tripod.
November 8th, 2002
I have revisited the Star Wars graphic novel
Crimson Empire, for the second time.
November 5th, 2002
Two more SF movies tonight: Minority
Report and Reign of Fire.
November 2nd, 2002
Two fantasy book reviews today:
The Silmarillion Audiobook
and Green Rider. All sections of this
website have been updated with a subtly new style, removing the annoying
gradient in the text of the review, especially. There should be no more broken
links. The next phase of renovations begins... Finally, the search engine was
updated today.
October 31st, 2002
Two movie reviews today -both science fiction: ET
on DVD and The Time Machine.
October 26th, 2002
My review of The Green Mile will be
the last movie review in the non-SF and Fantasy sections. I may continue to
review five-star movies, and will definitely keep the Science Fiction (with the
AOTC DVD and IMAX coming soon) and
the Fantasy (with the LOTR DVD
also coming soon) sections running for the foreseeable future.
October 21st, 2002
The reviews for the movie
Beauty and the Beast, and for the Star Wars graphic novel
Zam Wesell are now available. I have also
rearranged a little bit of the Library. The Archive page is now gone, split into
two in the Science Fiction and the
Fantasy sections, and all books that
were not SF&F have been removed.
October 15th, 2002
I have finished and updated my review of Isaac Asimov's
Robots and Empire. The review for the
graphic story Jango Fett is also up.
October 12th, 2002
The review for the DVD release of
Monsters, Inc., is now available. The entire
Fantasy book section has also been fixed
of broken links, better background, and a more consistent structure, which is
readable by IE and Netscape (except, inexplicably, the index scripts). Finally,
the summary pages for Books and Movies have been updated, as well.
October 9th, 2002
The entire SF book section has been fixed of
broken hyperlinks and the Netscape problem, as far as I can tell. I am also on
the verge of removing all of my movie reviews, as I no longer have the time or
desire to continue with them. I have yet to make a final decision, though.
October 5th, 2002
The reviews for two comedies,
My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and the musical
Grease, are now available. The entire Star
Wars directory (now split in two) should be available without broken links
by now, including brand new guide pages for the
Galaxy of Fear books. Finally, the guide
page for my current book, Asimov's Robots
and Empire, is also up.
October 2nd, 2002
The review for the IMAX film Africa:
The Serengeti is now available.
September 29th, 2002
The review for the SF short story anthology
Nebula Winners Twelve is available.
September 27th, 2002
My review for the less-than-stellar Dark
Journey is now available. I have also added the guide page for my current
book, the short story anthology Nebula
Winners Twelve. I apologize for the many broken links in this site. I have
renamed a couple of directories, and am working on restoring everything. It
should be back together soon.
September 24th, 2002
I have reviewed the comedy movie Liar Liar.
September 20th, 2002
My short review for the movie
Message in a Bottle is up.
September 18th, 2002
The review for the SF -alternate history novel 1632
is available. I don't know why my javascript menus don't work in Netscape. I've
tried them on other domains, and on my hard drive, and they work perfectly. I'm
working on the problem, but if you're curious, you can access any of the reviews
from the summary pages for books or
movies.
September 16th, 2002
The review for the live show Rent is now up. The
fixed Netscape-capable pages don't look exactly the way I want them, but pretty
close. The site looks best with Internet Explorer. Start with the last eight New
Jedi Order books.
September 15th, 2002
I have posted the review for the mini-series
Jack and the Beanstalk. It has
also come to my attention that very few of the pages on this site work with
Netscape Navigator. I have found the problem in the html, but it will take a
while to fix, and I am using this as an opportunity to clean up some of the
existing pages. All pages posted from now on, however, will work with both major
browsers. Finally, the guide page is up for the next Star Wars New Jedi Order
novel: Force Heretic I: Remnant.
September 10th, 2002
The review for the Star Wars graphic novel
The Sith War is now available.
September 5th, 2002
The short review for Music of the
Heart is now available.
September 3rd, 2002
The review is now available for the graphic novel
Vader's Quest. I have also updated the
Timeline to include the
Galaxy of Fear young reader series,
since I will likely be reading them soon. They don't have individual pages yet,
because I don't have good quality cover scans. But expect that to change as I
obtain and read them. I have also reviewed the IMAX film
India: Kingdom of the Tiger.
August 31st, 2002
The long review for the longest Star Wars book,
Star by Star, is finished! I also added to the timeline the guide page for
the upcoming New Jedi Order e-book, Ylesia.
August 27th, 2002
I have reviewed the movie A Beautiful Mind,
and re-reviewed the Star Wars graphic novel Dark
Lords of the Sith. To reduce the size of this page, I've removed all notes
prior to August 2002 to its own page.
August 23rd, 2002
The review for the DVD version of V: The Final
Battle, is now available. I also altered the Archive
page a little, adding some commentary that I couldn't resist! Somehow, this shortened
the length of the page. Finally, I have added the guide page to Tolkien's
Silmarillion, because I've been intermittently
listening to the audio book of that story -unabridged- and will be soon finished!
August 19th, 2002
I have another review ready, for the thriller movie
Don't Say A Word.
August 18th, 2002
After a long absence (including a nice vacation), I have finally returned to
review the Star Wars novel Children of the
Jedi.
August 7th, 2002
I have reviewed the DVD Director's Edition of
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. I have also updated the
book and movie lists.
August 5th, 2002
The reviews for The Lord of the
Rings Movie Guide and the Tales of the Jedi graphic novel
The Freedon Nadd Uprising, are now
available.
August 1st, 2002
I have finished and reviewed the novel
Children of Dune.
July 24th, 2002
The review for the non-fiction
movie Trekkies is now up.
July 20th, 2002
The reviews for the fantasy
novel Soul of the Fire, and the Star
Wars novella, Darth Maul: Saboteur, are now
available. Also, the guide page for my next book, Children of Dune, is now available.
July 19th, 2002
I have reviewed the drama
movies A Walk to Remember, and Anne of Green Gables, the Sequel.
Also, I have renamed the IMAX section as a
Non-Fiction movie section, to take into account other non-fiction work that
I decide to review.
July 16th, 2002
The reviews for the two bounty
hunter graphic tales, Boba Fett: Twin
Engines of Destruction, and Kenix
Kil, are now available.
July 13th, 2002
I have added some feelings about
the special features on the Dune mini-series
DVD, which I had not watched at the time of the original review. Also, I have
finally put up a short review of Episode
II, since I saw it for the second time a full week ago! And I have reviewed
two of the four stories in the Bounty Hunters graphic novel, Aurra Sing, and Scoundrel's Wages.
July 9th, 2002
The review for the graphic novel Knights of the Old Republic
is available. I have also added the guide page to another non-fiction book that
I am perusing, Then Lord of the Rings
Official Movie Guide, and have made some changes to some of the Star Wars guide pages, including the
addition of the Bounty Hunters graphic stories, and changing the ongoing comic
series to its new name of Republic.
July 8th, 2002
I've finally written my review of
the novelization of Attack of the
Clones. Also please note that the search engine has
been updated.
July 3rd, 2002
I've read and reviewed the second
Tales of the Jedi graphic novel, Fall
of the Sith Empire. I have also reviewed the DVD version of the Dune miniseries. And there has been yet
another new Star Wars junior novel announced: Master of Disguise. Finally, the
guide page for the book I'm currently reading, Soul of the Fire, by Terry Goodkind, is
up.
June 26th, 2002
I went back in time and decided
to reread the Tales of the Jedi series of graphic novels. The first one, The Golden Age of the Sith, has
been reviewed. I also reviewed the comedy movie Princess Diaries. And there have
been three new Star Wars books recently unveiled: a cool-looking classic-trilogy
book, Tatooine Ghost, the third
Jedi Quest novel, Dangerous Games, and
the second book in the Young Boba Fett series,
Crossfire!. The
guide pages for these books are available.
June 22nd, 2002
I added the reviews for the IMAX
film Legend of Loch Lomond, and
the Star Wars novel, The Approaching
Storm. Also, I "accidentally" watched Harry Potter and the Philosopher's
Stone again. Accidentally? How did I manage that?
June 17th, 2002
Nothing important; I fixed a
bunch of broken or insecure links today.
June 15th, 2002
No reviews today, but I have done
some reorganizing, again, of the site. Just because! I have removed the
mini-series section, and have dispersed those films into their general
categories. I have also split the Science Fiction and Fantasy movie
section into two: Science Fiction, and Fantasy, bringing it into line with the
book sections. I especially like the Fantasy banner! Of course, there are a few
movies that we might argue about categories... I also moved some movies in
from other sections, which were long overdue. Enjoy! Finally, I updated the
Summary pages, for Books,
Movies, and Live shows.
June 13th, 2002
The review of the Harry
Turtledove's second colonization book, Down to
Earth, is now available, along with my fourth visit to Anne of Green Gables, this time on
DVD..
June 5th, 2002
The reviews for the two IMAX
films, The Human Body, and The Old Man and the Sea, are
available.
June 3rd, 2002
I have finally put up my review
for the live show Riverdance, and the DVD
movie Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
May 31st, 2002
The reviews for the novel Ancient Shores, and the Spider-Man movie are now available. The guide
page for my current read, the Colonization book
Down to Earth, is also available.
May 29th, 2002
I have reviewed the classic movie The Road Warrior.
May 24th, 2002
I have added the review for the
mini-series Dinotopia.
May 22nd, 2002
The reviews for the Jedi
apprentice novels, The Captive Temple,
and The Day of Reckoning, are now
available. I have also put the guide page up for the book I am currently
reading, Ancient Shores.
May 20th, 2002
The review for Attack of the
Clones, the movie, is now available! I have also updated the Star Wars
book timeline, based on information that I have gleaned from recent books. The updates are subtle, and not likely very noticeable (in the Jedi Apprentice
and New Jedi Order sections).
May 17th, 2002
The review for the next Jedi
Apprentice novel, The Captive Temple, is up. And I am going to see Attack
of the Clones tomorrow night! I can't wait!
May 15th, 2002
I have reviewed the Star Wars
graphic novel Twilight, and the young reader novel Defenders of the Dead.
May 13th, 2002
The reviews for the fantasy book Wyrd Sisters, and the Star Wars Jedi
Apprentice novel The Mark of the Crown,
are up.
May 12th, 2002
I have added the reviews for the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
I don't know why I had that movie in the drama section -it really belongs where
I put it now, with the other action movies. The guide page for the Star
Wars New Jedi Order novel Destiny's Way
is also available.
May 2nd, 2002
I added the image for the Attack of
the Clones graphic novel, as well as the guide page for the fantasy book I am
currently reading, Wyrd Sisters.
April 30th, 2002
I have completed the Darksword
Trilogy with Triumph of the
Darksword, not such a triumph in my opinion. I also finished my
pre-Attack of the Clones Star Wars movie refresher (not that I need one, but
it's always a good excuse!) with Return of the Jedi. Finally, I bought the DVD for Moulin Rouge,
which requires another review!
April 23rd. 2002
The review for Doom of the Darksword is finally up.
Also, I have added the guide page for Star Wars: The New Jedi Order: Traitor. Is that Anakin on the cover?
April 15th, 2002
Three new reviews today, along
with real summer weather (up to 28 C tomorrow!): The novel Forging the Darksword, the
nonfiction book Tolkien's Ring, and
the mini-series Mists of Avalon.
April 9th, 2002
I have reviewed the Star Wars
graphic novel Emissaries to Malastare, and the movie O.
April 5th, 2002
The review for E.T.: The
Extraterrestrial is up. I have also updated the search engine for keyword
searching (even though I haven't had a search for three months), as well as the
three summary pages: Book, Movie and Live.
April 3rd, 2002
I have reviewed the New Jedi
Order novel Rebirth, and the movie The General's Daughter. Also, the Rogue
Squadron comics have finally all been reviewed with the addition of Requiem for
a Rogue to my list.
March 31st, 2002
The reviews for two incredible
movies are up: Moulin Rouge and The Empire Strikes Back!
March 26th, 2002
I have reviewed the New Jedi
Order book Conquest. Also, continuing
with my retro-reviews of graphic novels, here is the one for the Rogue Squadron Warrior Princess collection.
March 22nd, 2002
After four days of being sick
and miserable, unable to concentrate even to watch a movie or read pages of a
book or magazine, I am back up to speed. I have reviewed the novel The Robots of Dawn, and the movie Clear and Present Danger. Also, I also added an extended summary and review of the comic Battleground: Tatooine, which
never had a before full review.
March 15th, 2002
The reviews for the movies Aliens
and Stepmom are now available. Also,
the Bravenet counter should be working again, and I added the guide page for
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the
Clones!. Finally, I have introduced
part-marks! I was very reluctant to do so, but my latest novel pushed me
over the edge. Some things do not fit into my very rigid categories.
So I have begun to retroactively rate the movies that I know deserved an extra
push in either direction. I have not yet completed the new ratings page,
but expect it up sometime soon.
March 11, 2002
I have added the review of the live show Lord of the Dance,
and the mini-review of the Star Wars guidebook,
The Essential Chronology. I also added an extended summary and review
of the comic The Phantom Affair, which
never had a full review before.
March 8th, 2002
The site that keeps track of visitors temporarily went down a
short while ago, meaning the index page was not able to load under certain
conditions. Bravenet is dealing with the problem, but I have fixed the
loading problem for now. The counter should be back after the weekend. The latest review,
however, Die Hard with a Vengeance, is
now up.
March 3rd, 2002
This was not a good weekend, ratings-wise! All four items received the
same rating, though some were better than others. In order of bad to good,
here are the reviews for the IMAX film Yellowstone,
the Star Wars prequel novel Cloak of
Deception, the Star Wars graphic novel
Underworld: The Yavin Vassilika, and the IMAX film The First Emperor of China. As far as IMAX films go, I think the festival this month will keep me quite busy!
February 28th, 2002
The review for Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves is up.
February 25th, 2002
I have finally finished my review for Darth Maul: Shadow
Hunter.
February 21st, 2002
I have added the review for the Star Trek book A Stitch in
Time, and the guide page for the
graphic novel Jedi vs. Sith (it was delayed because I was hoping the cover was inaccurate;
unfortunately, it looks like the cover art, at least, will really look like
that). I also made a couple of small additions to the Darth Maul comic and
Wild California.
February18th, 2002
I have added the reviews for the Darth Maul
graphic novel, and for the IMAX film Wild
California. Recently, I discovered three reviews of live concerts that I wrote years and years
ago. After some debating, I decided to put them up, regardless of the
inferior quality of the writing and style. It does, after all help bolster
the size of the infant section. The reviews are for the 1989 Debbie
Gibson concert, and the 1992 concerts given by Bryan
Adams and John Mellencamp.
February 14th, 2002
The review for Harry Turtledove's Second Contact is up. I also replaced
(finally) the poor quality image for the IMAX film Cirque du Soleil: Journey of
Man, and added the guide page for the book I'm currently reading, Garak's
own A Stitch in Time, a Star Trek DS9
novel.
February 8th, 2002
I have placed my reviews of the mini-series Random
Passage, the movie A Walk
to Remember, and my 72nd viewing of Star Wars: A New Hope online.
Also, I have two new guide pages up for the Star Wars universe: Boba Fett
book 1, The Fight to survive, and
finally ATTACK OF THE CLONES!
February 4th, 2002
I have reviewed another Star Wars graphic novel, the prequel Jedi Council:
Acts of War, and added the guide page to the final Jedi Apprentice novel,
the special edition The Followers. Also, my review of The Glass House is up.
February 1st, 2002
I made a few cosmetic changes to the front page of the site, and to some of
the "list" pages that appear to the left of the screen. I also
added the guide pages for two Star Wars Jedi Quest novels, The Way of the
Apprentice and Trial of the Jedi, and for the
SF book I am currently reading, Harry
Turtledove's Second Contact. Finally,
I have finally found the old Gavin Darklighter's Holocron, which has changed
names to the Swamp-Wampa
Holocron! Glad the author made it to a new site after fan.starwars.com
shut down, because he had a great site!
January 29th, 2002
I have finally reviewed Balance Point. I also
transferred all the "notes" for 2001 onto its own page, shortening this one.
January 28th, 2002
The reviews for the movies Inventing the Abbotts and Being John Malkovich are
up.
January 25th, 2002
I have reviewed my second viewing of The Fellowship of the
Ring, and also the
Star Wars book Jedi Eclipse. Finally, I have updated the Star Wars timeline
with a bunch of new Prequel titles.
January 18th, 2002
The review for the New Jedi Order book Hero's Trial is up! I have also made some minor (barely noticable) changes to the Young
Indiana Jones section, and have updated the Welcome
letter to reflect the current home of the Ossus Library here at tripod.com.
January 16th, 2002
I have reviewed the IMAX film Shackleton's
Antarctic Adventure, and the non-fiction book The
Making of Dune (the movie).
January 11th, 2002
I am very late with this latest review of The
Phantom Menace on DVD, but here it is, with a new cover scan! I have
also finished reviewing my second shot at The
Truce at Bakura. I decided to review three Stargate novels
that I found lying around (I read them years ago), before I gave them away to the local library.
So here are some short summary/ reviews of Rebellion, Retaliation, and Retribution.
Enjoy! Finally, the Ossus Jedi Library is back, moved away from the
now-defunct fan.starwars.com network. Check
it out.
January 1st, 2002
Happy New Year, and welcome to the year 2002! For the new year, I have
a review of a DVD I received for Christmas -Star Trek: The Motion
Picture.
I have also reviewed JRR Tolkien's Unfinished
Tales. Finally, I am
removing the fantasy book Dragons of Summer Flame from my bookshelf, so I sat
down, flipped through it, and wrote a short review, mostly in the form of an
extended summary. Enjoy!
As promised, I have added the reviews for A Christmas Carol, starring Alastair Sim, and of the fabulous Fellowship of the Ring. I also found some better images for the covers of some of the Stargate books, so I replaced the poor ones that I had there. Finally, I have placed an alphabetical list of all the movies and live shows that are available on this site, similar to the book summary that I recently made (which is chronological).
December 22nd, 2001
This will likely be the last update before Christmas -so Merry Christmas! After Christmas, look for the review of The Fellowship of the Ring, the 1951 version of A Christmas Carol, and more! Currently, I have added the review for Rush Hour 2. I have also added the guide pages for the latest Star Wars title announced, Rebel Stand, and the book that I am currently reading, J.R.R. Tolkien's Unfinished Tales. On and off, I am reading The Making of Dune, the movie, so I have also added the guide page to that book. Finally, as of yesterday, the old site of fan.starwars.com has finally shut down. I am sad to see it go.December 14th, 2001
The search function has finally been fixed! Try it out! I have also added the reviews for the Asimov novel The Naked Sun, and the Fantasy movie Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Finally, I've added a few books that I discovered on an old list to the Archive page.
December 7th, 2001
The reviews for Dune Messiah and the live concert for Leahy are up. I have also found new images for three Jedi Apprentice novels, The Call to Vengeance, The Only Witness, and The Threat Within, for which the guide page is also up. I know that the search engine no longer works. I am in the process of setting up with a new company...
December 4th, 2001
I have added the reviews for the comedy Austin Powers 2, and the SF movie Planet of the Apes. Also available now is a copy of the Guestbook I had at fan.starwars.com. I didn't want to lose that stuff.
December 1, 2001
This is strange. I just finished site additions to my site at tripod.ca, and the site has disappeared! I can't figure this one out. So I have started up a new site, transferring all my stuff again, to ossuslibrary.tripod.com. Please come and join me...
December 1st, 2001
Big news: According to starwars.com, the fan.starwars.com network is shutting down as of December 20th, 2001. As a result, the Ossus Library has moved to ossuslibrary.tripod.com! Come on over and check out the new location. My final update at that location places my review of the comedy movie The Wedding Singer and the guide page for my next book, Dune Messiah, on the site, as well as two summary pages, accessible from the main index. THERE WILL BE NO MORE SITE ADDITIONS TO THAT LOCATION. All future site updates will take place at the new location. Thanks for the couple of years of visiting, and please follow me as we travel across the galaxy to our new home!
November 23rd, 2001
The review for the novel The Alien Years is up.
November 20th, 2001
I have short reviews for Monsters, Inc., and for the original Mission Impossible movie.
November 15th, 2001
The reviews for The Hidden Past and Outlander are up. And I am happy to announce that my new Star Wars Timeline is now completely operational! I think it looks better than it ever has.
November 11th, 2001
The reviews for The Dark Rival, and the movie Apocalypse Now are up. I am currently reloading the Star Wars section in the new index format, so some of the pages may be unavailable for the next few days, as they get updated. Please bear with me...
November 8th, 2001
I have added the review for the Star Wars Jedi Apprentice novel The Rising Force. I also added the reviews for two movies, the action Soldier and the romantic comedy Notting Hill.
November 5th, 2001
My review for the New Jedi Order Dark Tide book 2, Ruin, is up. All of the sections of this web site except for the Star Wars section have been updated with the new indices. I am aware that some of the Star Wars links are no longer valid, and am working to fix this as I update that section. Stay tuned!
November 1st, 2001
The reviews for the IMAX film Amazing Caves and my 4th time watching Evita are up. The Drama movie section has also been updated to the index format.
October 28th, 2001
The review for the New Jedi Order Dark Tide book Onslaught is now available. I have also updated the movie sections of Animated, IMAX, Mini-Series, SF and Thriller to the new JavaScript index format. Where the movie images were of poor resolution, I tried to get better scans of them, including all the Star Wars movies and many animated ones. Let me know what you think!
October 26th, 2001
I finally found a picture for the Jedi Apprentice book Call to Vengeance. I have also finished uploading the changes for all the Features and Book sections except for Star Wars (which, because of the volume, will take much longer). I'm sure some of the links will be broken between some of these pages, and as soon as I find them (or you let me know when you find one), I'll fix them. Meanwhile, most of the menubars on the index pages that have not been updated yet do not work, and will be fixed as I get to the rest of the sections. Thanks for visiting!
October 23rd, 2001
I have added the reviews for the Star Wars graphic novel Redemption, and the SF movie Gattaca. Many more pages have also been added to the new format.
October 20th, 2001
I finally finished Temple of the Winds,
and the review is up. I have also added the guide page for the Star Wars
e-book Darth Maul Saboteur. Finally,
the new major redesign has been implemented in the Fantasy and SF sections, and
will be added to the rest of the sections in the near future. Hope you
enjoy it!
October 15th, 2001
I have added the guide page for the New Jedi Order e-book Recovery.
I also updated the search engine as of today.
October 10th, 2001
The review for the live performance of The Lion King
has been posted. I also put up the guide page for the book I'm currently
reading, Terry Goodkind's Temple of the
Winds. Expect yet another redesign soon for the site, perhaps using
frames or JavaScript for the indices instead of full pages.
October 4th, 2001
I
have posted the reviews for the comedy Someone
Like You, and the drama Save the
Last Dance. I have also added the guide pages for the upcoming Star
Wars Jedi Apprentice books, The Call to
Vengeance and The Only Witness.
I don't have an image for the former, but since I had one for the latter, I
decided to put both up.
October 2nd, 2001
The reviews for Prelude to Rebellion
and the short story that accompanied it, Vow
of Justice, have been posted. I have also created guide pages for the
upcoming Star Wars stories The
Approaching Storm, and Jango Fett.
October 1st, 2001
I have merged the three non-fiction book pages into one, called Non-Fiction.
It is still possible that there are some errant links to those pages that were
removed. But the main index page and the banner
menus have
been appropriately changed. I think the main index is more visually attractive
now, though I don't know how much longer I will stick with the banner menus.
September 27th, 2001
I have finally placed up the very late reviews for the movies Final
Fantasy, Tomb Raider, and Rush
Hour. I have also finished the Star Wars book Rogue
Planet. Enjoy.
September 22nd, 2001
The review for Asimov's Fantastic Voyage is
up.
September 19th, 2001
I have taken a week off -not on vacation, not really. I was so stunned and
numb from the horrific and devastating attack in New York last week that I
couldn't read or write reviews. Like (probably) everybody else, I was
stuck to the TV, unable to comprehend this tragedy. My heart goes out to
all the people who knew somebody involved, especially loved ones. My
reviews of the live performance of Stomp, and the
Star Wars books Vector Prime and Chewbacca
all reflect this mood. I have also added the review for Star
Trek: Insurrection, written more recently. Between the tragedy on Tuesday, and the
wonderfully beautiful wedding of a good friend (thanks Carol!), I am still a
little behind on reviews, but hopefully will catch up soon. Call
it a week of tribute, because that's what it was.
September 10th, 2001
The reviews for the movies Enemy at the
Gates and The Wedding Planner
have been added to the site.
September 7th, 2001
I have finished the reviews for the V TV series
premiere, and for the novel Dune.
September 5th, 2001
I have added the reviews for the movies Chocolat,
and Unbreakable. The Star Wars
page has been busy, as I have added the guide pages for three books: Jedi
Apprentice book 15, The Death of Hope,
and two New Jedi Order books that will be coming out in 2002, Dark
Journey and Rebel Dream. I also
changed the font on the Star Wars and the SF
pages, which I think
has condensed them nicely. I'm still working on ways to shrink the
timeline down even more.
August 29th, 2001
I am up to date now, having posted the reviews for the animated film Atlantis,
and the mini-series V: The Final Battle.
I also archived the first half of this year into the Site
Notes 2001 file, making this notes page much smaller to load.
August 27th, 2001
I
have finally added the reviews for the third Uplift Storm book, Heaven's
Reach, and the first Discworld novel to feature Granny Weatherwax, Equal
Rites.
August 22nd, 2001
I've added the review for American Pie 2.
I have also removed the animated gif images from the front page of this
site. I think they were making the page unnecessarily slow. Let me
know if you want them back, though...
August 20th, 2001
Tonight I added the reviews for the the first V
miniseries, and for the animated film Mulan.
August 15th, 2001
I have added the review for the last Star Wars X-Wing novel, Starfighters
of Adumar, and the action movie Jurassic
Park III.
August 13th, 2001
I have added the reviews for The Empire Strikes Back
(my 41st viewing!) and the drama K2. I also
added the guide page for the SF book I am currently reading: Heaven's
Reach.
August 10th, 2001
I have finished reading and reviewing Isard's
Revenge, and have put up the guide pages for the Star Wars comics Emissaries
to Malastare and Twilight.
August 8th, 2001
The review for America's
Sweethearts is up tonight. I also added the guide page for the Star
Wars novel Jedi Quest. Finally, I've
added a link
to another Star
Wars fan site which gives detailed biographies of the Jedi Knights we know
of. I think it is a good complement to this site. If only the author
could be convinced to give the source book or movie where the information comes
from for each Jedi...
August 6th, 2001
I have added the review for The Caves of Steel.
Also long overdue is the final review for Lando Calrissian and the Starcave
of Thonboka.
July 31st, 2001
The review for the SF novel Hung Out is up
tonight.
July 30th, 2001
I have added the reviews for the movies The
Mummy Returns and A Knight's Tale.
I also added the guide page for the Jedi Apprentice novel Ties
that Bind. (I'm getting really far behind on the Star Wars
books. I can't get my hands on Isard's Revenge, one of the last two books
I have to read before starting in on the New Jedi Order and the Prequel
stories.)
July 23rd, 2001
Tonight
I added the reviews for my second viewing of the IMAX film Dolphins,
and for the graphic novel version of The Hobbit.
I also added the guide page for the book I am currently reading, Hung
Out.
July 21st, 2001
I have finally added the reviews for The Mummy,
and for the great and very long book The
Mageborn Traitor, bringing me currently up to date.
July 19th, 2001
I am back from vacation! Tonight I added the reviews for the horrible O
Brother Where Art Thou movie and the wonderful live production of Annie.
The guide page for the Star Wars Graphic Novel Jedi Council: Acts
of War, is also up. I still have a couple of reviews backlogged,
too!
July 8th, 2001
I have written a short review for the
Star Wars Annotated Screenplays. I also added the review for Lando
Calrissian and the Flamewind of Oseon, and expect the have the review of the
third book up soon as well.
July 3rd, 2001
I
finally added the (scathing?) review for my second reading of The
Courtship of Princess Leia. I have also put up the guide page for the
book I am currently reading, The Mageborn
Traitor. It is nearly 800 pages, so don't expect the review anytime
soon! But look back for movies all the time.
July 2nd, 2001
I have added the reviews for the animated movie Shrek
and the IMAX film Gold Fever. I
also added my review for Lando
Calrissian and the Mindharp of Sharu, since I will be removing the Lando
Calrissian Adventures from my bookshelves soon.
June 27th, 2001
The review for Billy Elliot is
up. I have also added the guide page for the Star Wars novel Star
By Star, and fixed several broken links.
June 24th, 2001
The reviews for the X-Wing novel Solo Command and the graphic novel of Luke and Mara's wedding, Union, are up. The guide pages for the Star Wars graphic novels Underworld and Redemption (which has finally been scheduled for release!) have also been added to the site.
June 21st, 2001
I have added the review for the drama
movie The Ice Storm. Some of the
other index pages have had the new interactive menus added as well. It
appears that they are only slow on Internet Explorer, and only sometimes.
When I placed the exact same menus on a different server, they didn't hesitate
at all, so it must be the fan.starwars.com server. We'll just have to be
patient.
June 19th, 2001
The reviews and extended summaries for
Han Solo's Revenge and Han Solo and
the Lost Legacy are now up. I have also reviewed the live
performance of Disney's Beauty and the
Beast. Wow!
June 15th, 2001
Tonight I added the reviews
for the movie Pearl Harbor, and for the SF book To Fear the Light. I have
stopped putting up the new menus on the guide pages until I figure out why they
are loading so slowly. Stay tuned!
June 13th, 2001
I've added the review for The
Lion King, my 5th viewing! I am also about to remove the Han Solo
Adventures from my bookshelf, so I flipped through it again and wrote an
extended summary and mini-review for the first book, Han
Solo at Stars' End. The two others will follow shortly. The Star
Wars page has also been updated with the latest information on the Jedi
Apprentice series, including Deceptions.
June 8th, 2001
I added the guide page for the
book I am currently reading, To Fear the Light. Also, starting tonight, I
will be putting up the new menus. This will probably take a little while
to do, but currently, I've put them on the Science Fiction
and Star Wars pages, this page, and the Notes archive.
June 4th, 2001
I have added the review for
the Star Wars graphic novel Shadows of
the Empire: Evolution, as well as the Disney animated movie Dinosaur.
May 30th, 2001
It feels like it's been a lot
longer since I've updated this site! Tonight, I have the book The
Martian Race and the thriller movie I
Still Know What You Did Last Summer for you. I also updated the final
review for the Deep Space Nine Companion.
May 25th, 2001
I have added the long-overdue
reviews for the SF novel The Bridge, and the IMAX
movie Dolphins.
May 16th, 2001
I added the review for Grey
Owl tonight, as well as the guide page for the Darth
Maul comics.
May 15th, 2001
I have added the review for my
second viewing of Charlie's Angels,
and the final Junior Jedi Knights novel, Kenobi's
Blade.
May 13th, 2001
I have added the reviews for
the two Junior Jedi Knights books, Anakin's
Quest and Vader's Fortress.

Tonight I added the reviews
for the Star Wars book Jedi Knight, and
the comedy Bridget Jones's Diary.

5th viewing of Jurassic Park, and my
4th viewing of The Phantom Menace!
May 2nd, 2001
I added the reviews for three
Star Wars comic stories: Jedi Academy
Leviathan, The X-Wing Rogue Squadron
Prequel, and the first X-Wing Rogue Squadron comic: The
Rebel Opposition.
April 30th, 2001
I added the reviews for the
movie Wag the Dog, as well as the Fantasy
novel Blood of the Fold.
April 21st, 2001
I have heavily
modified the page with my Favourite Links, deleting some
that are no longer valid, and adding quite a few. I have also modified the main index page. I now give the first paragraph
for each review, which is always my first impression of the book or movie.
Also, I broke down the index images into separate pictures, which makes it a
little easier to load, and allows people to view the index without images
enabled on their browser. Finally, the guide page the Star Wars Outlander
is up, as well as the book I'm currently reading, Blood
of the Fold. Enjoy.
April 12th, 2001
The review for The
Horse Whisperer is now up.
April 10th, 2001
The review for the movie Along
Came a Spider is up.
April 8th, 2001
The review for the Star Wars
X-Wing novel Iron Fist is now up. I
have also updated the search engine for this site.
April 4th, 2001
The review for the X-Wing book Wraith
Squadron is up. A also finished updating the Star
Trek and Young Indiana Jones sections,
completing my updates to the new format style. I also fixed the rest of
the broken links (except for a couple on the Links
page); as a result, all of the links on the Old Notes
page have been removed (there were just too many broken ones). I'll take a
break on style updates for a little while, but I do have some more things in
mind for the main index pages. Coming soon...
March 31st, 2001
I finally finished the review
for the Star Wars graphic novel Mandatory
Retirement. I also fixed many of the broken links that have cropped up
since I began reformatting many of the sections, and I finished updating the Science
Fiction and Fantasy movie section to the latest format.
March 29th, 2001
The reviews for the
Comedies Miss Congeniality and What
Women Want, as well as the IMAX film Great
North, are up.
March 26th, 2001
The review for Dragonfly,
the book about Mir, is up. The Animated and Comedy movie sections have received the new border
format, too.
March 24th, 2001
I added the review for the
movie Return to Me.
March 20th, 2001
The reviews for the movies The
Kid and Gone in 60 Seconds are
up. I've finally updated the Action movie
section to the new border format, and made the Star Wars
Timeline easier to read (I hope) by compressing the font.
March 14th, 2001
The review for the comedy Meet
the Parents is up. The new format has been initiated for all of the
book sections, as well as the Live section.
March 7th, 2001
I have put up the guide page
for the Star Wars New Jedi Order book 2 of the Agents of Chaos (whew!): Rebirth.
March 4th, 2001
The reviews for books two and
three of the Junior Jedi Knights, Lyric's
World and Promises, are up.
February 28th, 2001
I added the reviews for two
Star Wars books: Dark Forces Rebel Agent,
and the Junior Jedi Knights' The Golden
Globe. I also saw two movies, and the reviews are up here, too: the
terrific Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,
and the pathetic Austin Powers (the
first one). I also added the guide pages for two new Star Jedi Apprentice
books, one of which will not be available until the fall.
February 25th, 2001
I have added some new
enhancements in the Star Wars and Fantasy book sections, but I am having trouble
seeing images at all on my site. Is this an isolated problem, or is
anybody else having this trouble, too? I have contacted support, but so
far no useful answers.
February 21st, 2001
Added the review for the movie Air Force One, and the Book
of Lost Tales, Part II.
February 18th, 2001
Added the review
for The Negotiator. I have also
finally added a ZERO rating to my scheme. I was
tired of lumping poor movies in with abysmal ones, so this was really
necessary. I will be updating the required pages as I update the sections
to the latest format.
February 12th, 2001
Added the review for the movie Eraser.
February 10th, 2001
Added reviews for The
Fugitive and Cast Away.
February 7th, 2001
I added my lengthy review for
J.R.R. Tolkien's Book of Lost Tales, Part I.
February 4th, 2001
I think I've fixed the
problems with the Star Wars titlebars. Only time will tell. I also
added the guide pages for the Jedi Apprentice books.
February 3rd, 2001
I finally added the review for
three movies: the thriller Hollow Man,
the IMAX Migrations, and the
drama Story of Us. I also updated
the titlebars in The Thriller, IMAX
and Mini Series sections. I realize there
are some problems with some of the Star Wars titlebars, and I'll try and correct
them today, also.
January 26th, 2001
I have changed the titlebar
format to all 118 pages in the Star Wars section (boy
what a lot of work that was!). I hope all the links are still good.
Do you like what I've done? Let me know!
January 25th, 2001
Added the review for Utopia,
by Roger MacBride Allen.
January 18th, 2001
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
JOANNE! Today I added my review for Vertical Limit. While in line, I
noticed a sign saying "no refunds for the movie 13 Days". I
asked the cashier, who told me that too many people were buying tickets,
watching the Lord of the Rings trailer, and then leaving, asking for refunds on
the way out!
January 15th, 2001
I added the guide page for the
latest release by Dark Horse Comics: Chewbacca.
January 11th, 2001
I added the reviews for the
movie 28 Days, and for the book The
Bacta War.
January 6th, 2001
I added the reviews for the
book The Krytos Trap, and for the movie Girl,
Interrupted. I also simplified the main gateway so that it doesn't
take so long to download. I want that to be a redirection page only, so
that people can go to the real index page faster.
January 1st, 2001
Happy New Year! I have
completely overhauled my main index page -hope you like
it. I am trying image maps for the first time. All notes and site
updates for 2000 have been moved to the archive (see below). I love my new
banner, which should appear on every page. The copyright year has also
been changed. I also added a section for Live Shows, since I have enjoyed
so many of them in the last few years. I put a review of the stage
production of The Secret Garden in
there. I will add the other two reviews sometime later. I also added
my review of the Dune mini-series. I
don't know how the News section will work out, but I hope to announce things
like book releases and upcoming movies there. Only time will tell...
In the months to come, I will be adding new navigation buttons to the tops of
all my pages. I have yet to find a satisfactory layout though.
December 30, 2000
Added the reviews for the IMAX films T-Rex
and Amazon.
December 23, 2000
I changed the animated gif on the main
page so that it was a little easier to look at. Depending on your
download speed, the book images used to be out of synch. I also added
the guide page for the latest (and last) Rogue Squadron graphic novel, Mandatory
Retirement. I don't know if I'll get a chance to update again
before Christmas, so Merry Christmas to everyone. Hopefully I'll
get at least one more update before the new year.
December 22, 2000
Added the
review for Patrick Stewart's A
Christmas Carol.
December 20, 2000
Added the review for How
the Grinch Stole Christmas.
December 16, 2000
I have finally finished the review of Bicentennial
Man. The guide page and review for the fantastic Infinity's
Shore is also up.
December 11, 2000
Finally added the review for Kiss
the Girls. I guess I was in a good mood. :-) The
page is up for Bicentennial Man,
but no review as yet. I also added a preview on the front
page of some new headers that will start making their way onto the
web pages in the new year, while removing the annoying text at the bottom
that takes so long to load. If you want to see what it used to say,
I say it better in my Welcome Letter. Finally,
I also replaced Yoda the Jedi Master image on the front
page with a hilarious picture from the front of a Christmas card set
I sent out last year. I love that picture! Enjoy.
December 7, 2000
I'm still here, and I'm writing the promised
reviews. But I've been really busy thiese last couple of weeks, but
I've finished defending my PhD thesis proposal (I still have years to go
on the actual research) on Wednesday (Dec. 6). I'm out of town for
the weekend, but hopefully soon after that I'll have the two movie reviews
up. At this point, I'm halfway through Infinity's Shore, so that
review won't be up for a while.
November 26, 2000
Finished consolidating all of the Fantasy
books onto a single page. This should make it easier to navigate
this section.
November 25, 2000
Added the review for Robot
Blues, book 2 of the Mag Force 7 trilogy.
November 21, 2000
Added the reviews to two movies: the action U.S.
Marshals, and the SF movie Frequency.
November 18, 2000
I have made a few cosmetic changes to
the site. The "Other Fiction" page has been removed, since it seemed
silly to keep the empty page. I also brought all the Science
Fiction books to the same index page, and provided navigation within
the page. I didn't like the idea of having to skip between two pages
to get all the books. I will do the same with the fantasy books in
the future. Finally, I moved the Star Trek
books to their own directory.
November 17, 2000
Added the reviews for the X-Wing novel Wedge's
Gamble, and the movie Charlie's
Angels.
November 11, 2000
Take a moment
to remember those who have fallen for our chance at freedom, on this Remembrance
Day. Today I added the review for my
second viewing of Toy Story 2, and
I finally finished updating the existing poortions of the Star
Wars Timeline to the new format. I will be adding the New
Jedi Order soon, and will add a couple more pages that are not quite
part of the timeline. I've finished Wedge's Gamble, but have not
had a chance to review it yet.
November 3, 2000
Added the reviews for the book Rogue
Squadron, and the movie The Associate.
I also updated the Star Wars timeline up to
the end of the Crimson Empire saga.
October 26, 2000
Added the review for the movie Dune,
and updated the Rogue Squadron comics in the Star Wars Timeline.
October 22, 2000
Updated the Star
Wars book between Empire and The Truce at Bakura.
October 17, 2000
Updated the Star
Wars books between A New Hope and Empire.
October 14, 2000
Added the review for The
Ruins of Ambrai. I have also updated all of the Star
Wars pages for the books that take place before A New Hope to the new
format.
October 13, 2000
I have started updating the Star
Wars Timeline. So far, I have just done the Tales of the Jedi,
but eventually it will all get done. As I mentioned in my Welcome
Letter, many images needed updating, and I am doing that at the same
time as I update the pages. As a result, this section is taking longer
than any other.
October 9, 2000
Updated the entire Young
Indy section to the new format, and added a new titlebar to those pages,
and to the main page. I also added the review for the movie Out
to Sea, and I have made up a new page with my favourite links.
October 6, 2000
Added the reviews for Dr.
Dolittle, and City of Angels.
I am also trying out a new colour for some of the titles. I'm not
sure if I like it yet, but it does add colour, which I found was
missing, at least from the index pages.
October 3, 2000
Updated the rest of the Drama section
to the new format.
September 30, 2000
I updated the first half of the Drama
Movie section to the new format. I never realized how many dramas
I've seen in the last year! I also added a page for my new Deep
Space Nine Companion, which I hope will become an ongoing review until
I finish it.
September 27, 2000
I just realized that yesterday was the
first
anniversary of this site being on the internet!
Wow! But I don't think anybody ever visited it until I moved to fan.starwars.com.
Today I added the review for Stuart
Little, and I updated the entire Comedy section to the new format.
September 25, 2000
Added the review for The
Making of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. I also divided
up the page I used to call "Others", into two pages, one for guides
about the Star Wars Universe, including character, vehicle, and story information,
and the second one for information
about Star Wars, the movies, behind the scenes, the art, and so on.
While I was doing that, I decided to do something similar for the Star
Trek guides that I own. So there are four new guides on the Star
Trek page.
September 24, 2000
Added the review for the movie Double
Jeopardy, and updated the rest of the action
movie section to the new format.
September 23, 2000
All day yesterday, I couldn't figure out
how it was possible that my counter went from 200 hits to over two thousand!
But then I received the Star Wars Homing Beacon. I was totally blown
away that I could be featured there. My apologies to those of you
looking for an email address, who couldn't find one. I really didn't
think that anybody would be that interested in emailing me. For posterity,
I am trying to save the Homing Beacon to a page, but haven't figured out
how to do it without recreating the whole thing from scratch.
To accommodate all those who emailed me, I added my email address to all of the guide pages, as well as the front page. I also added my name to the front page. I also added my review for my second viewing of The Tigger Movie, and I updated the entire Animated Movie section to the new format. Finally, I fixed up a few pages that had errors on them from my new formatting attempts.
To all who emailed me and / or signed my guestbook, thanks so much for your attention! To the person who noticed me and put the Ossus Library in the Homing Beacon, I am overwhelmed, and thank you so much.
September 17, 2000
Added the
reviews for the movie The Patriot,
and the graphic novel X-Wing Rogue Squadron: Masquerade.
September 16, 2000
Added the review for Shadow
Star, and updated the entire (first half) of the Fantasy
section, and the Star Trek section, to the new
format.
September 10, 2000
Updated the
rest of the Science Fiction section, and all of the nonfiction sections
to the new format.
September 8, 2000
Added the review for the movie Tin
Cup, and updated the surrounding movie pages to the new format.
September 5, 2000
Added the review for the IMAX film Africa's
Elephant Kingdom, and updated the entire IMAX
and Miniseries sections to the new format.
September 1, 2000
Added the review for What
Lies Beneath, and updated the entire Thriller
movie section to the new format.
August 31, 2000
Added the
review for the book Stargate: Resistance,
and updated it and its neighbours to the new style. Boy, this is
taking a long time!
August 25, 2000
Added the reviews for Run
Lola Run, and for Gladiator,
both, of course, in the new style. The movies to either side of them
were also changed to the new style.
August 24, 2000
I changed a few more pages of the SF section
to the new format, as well as changing the background on the Archives
and Links section, though no other changes were
made to those pages yet. The most noticable change belongs to the Index
page, though I am not finished with it yet.
August 20, 2000
Added the
review for the movie X-Men, and updated some
of that section to the new format.
August 19, 2000
Added the review for Brightness
Reef, the first book in the "New Uplift Trilogy". This page,
and a few others in the SF book section sport
some new changes that I really like, including a new background, repeated
graphics, and a new box for displaying the book's title and information.
More will follow in the next few days.
August 16, 2000
Modified
the stars and year graphics, so that they appear better on the new background
that I am testing out, and so that they are all located in one place.
The changes are not noticeable on the black background, and should also be
invisible on the new ones. This page is the first one to support
the new background, but there are other test cases scattered through the
site.
August 15, 2000
Added the review for the movie Cutthroat
Island.
August 10, 2000
Added the review for Jerry
Maguire, my third time seeing this movie. I've also finally finished
my revamping of the Star Wars Timeline.
I love the new header, and I've removed the "bulges" in the lightsaber,
with the dates in them. They were just too hard to keep aligned with
the background. The new dates are right on the page, and I think
they look great. I also much prefer the grey background to the blue.
The new Star Wars logo has also been added to the Index
page. Now I think I will try and do something with the Star Trek
logo. Only time with tell... I also had a chance to update
the main title page.
I am not quite satisfied with it yet, but it is starting to look better.
August 9, 2000
Added the review for The
Perfect Storm. I am currently revitalizing my Star
Wars Timeline. I am tired of the blue background. It should
be done sometime soon. It looks good so far, but I still have a few
things left to do with it.
August 5, 2000
Added the
review for the book Portraits
of Discovery, by George Greenstein.
July 31, 2000
It has taken me a long time to get back
up to date with the reviews, but here are the two last ones, Where
the Heart Is, starring Natalie Portman, and Erin
Brockovich, starring Julia Roberts. I also updated a couple of
outdated links.
July 30, 2000
Finally finished and reviewed Stone
of Tears, by Terry Goodkind. Also added the review for the Star
Wars graphic novel Crimson Empire
2: Council of Blood.
July 29, 2000
Added the review for the Young Indy adventure Tales
of Innocence.
July 22, 2000
I think I've
done it: the Star Wars Timeline seems
to look fine in both Netscape and Internet Explorer. We'll see if
it survives! I have been on vacation for a couple of weeks.
Before I left, I watched The Matrix on
video. The review is finally up now that I've returned.
July 3, 2000
Added the review for my third viewing
of the animated movie Tarzan.
July 1, 2000
Added the review for the final book in
the Star Wars Bounty Hunter Wars: Hard
Merchandise. It has also come to my attention that the Star
Wars Timeline does not look good when viewed at high resolution (or
sometimes with IE5). So I am in the process of fixing it. Don't
expect me to get it exactly right this time, but I'm trying!
June 27, 2000
Added the review for the Star Wars book Slave
Ship, and the movie Mission:
Impossible 2.
June 20, 2000
Added the review for my fourth viewing of Jurassic Park, and replaced
some index pages that mysteriously disappeared in the site move last week.
June 19, 2000
Added the reviews to the Young Indy feature Oganga:
The Giver and Taker of Life, and the drama movies Snow
Falling on Cedars and The Best Man.
Also added the review for the Star Wars book The
Mandalorian Armor.
June 15, 2000
Moved my website to fan.starwars.com!
And added a new title-page.
June 6, 2000
Added the reviews for the books Destination
Mars and Deep Space Nine: What
You Leave Behind, as well as the Star Wars graphic novel Boba
Fett: Enemy of the Empire, and the IMAX film Journey
of Man (Cirque du Soleil).

Added the review for the mini-series Anne
of Green Gables, the Sequel.
May 27, 2000
Added the review for the book Knights
of the Black Earth.

Peoples of Middle-Earth, by JRR Tolkien and Christopher Tolkien.

April 17, 2000

Evil. I also added the extended summaries for the last books
in the Star Wars Young Jedi Knights series, Fall of the Diversity Alliance: Delusions
of Grandeur, Jedi Bounty, and The
Emperor's Plague.
April 9, 2000
Added the reviews for the Star Trek Dominion
War Book 4: Sacrifice of Angels,
and my third viewing of Star Wars: The
Phantom Menace. I also added the extended summaries for the Star
Wars books Shards of Alderaan,
and Diversity Alliance, which
will shortly be removed from my bookshelves.
April 5, 2000
Added the reviews for the Star Trek book Tunnel
Through the Stars, and the movie Mission
to Mars.
March 26, 2000
Added the
review for the Young Indy adventure Hollywood
Follies.
March 24, 2000
Added the review for Star Trek Dominion
War Book 2: Call to Arms. I
also added the extended summaries for Dark
Empire II, and Empire's End,
which will be removed from my bookshelf soon.
March 22, 2000
Added the reviews to three movies I saw
on the weekend: Two dramas, Random Hearts and Angela's Ashes, and
a comedy, Waking Ned Divine.
I also added the review for Star Trek Dominion War Book 1: Behind
Enemy Lines. Finally, I updated some pictures, notably of the
Star Wards graphic novels, and of the various non-fiction books that I
still have on my bookshelves. I finally decided to buy a scanner!
No more blanks in the cover picture spot!

have been released on video.
February 13, 2000
Added the review for Tolkien's Poems
and Stories. Since I had read several parts of this book before,
in earlier collections, I removed them from the Archive
page, and added them to the new review page. Also added the review
for Career Opportunities.
February 9, 2000
Added the extended summary to Star Wars: Planet
of Twilight, as it will be soon removed from my bookshelf. I
also removed the Book and Movie News page, as I can't keep up with it,

some more "targets" to the Archive page, for
easier navigation.
February 6, 2000
Added the reviews to my 22nd viewing of Raiders
of the Lost Ark, and the illustrated novel Dark Forces: Soldier
for the Empire. Adjusted the Young Indy page to reflect a new

Added the reviews for Labyrinth,
and my second viewing of Prince of Egypt.
Also added the review for Book 2 of the Han Solo Trilogy: The

summary of each one: The four Star Wars Newspaper strips: The
Early Adventures, In Deadly Pursuit, The
Rebel Storm, and Escape to Hoth,
as well as Splinter of the Mind's Eye.
Watch out, many spoilers!
I also added a Star Wars News tidbit. There are more news items, but I have to find them first! And finally, I received a lot of Young Indy videos and the Older Indy Trilogy in widescreen for Christmas. It will take a while to watch and review them all, but I updated the Young Indy page to show what I have... and have yet to watch!
January 2, 2000

Hard 2.

the King, and The Nutcracker, and
for the books Worldwar: Upsetting
the Balance and Han Solo: The
Paradise Snare.
December 23, 1999
Added the reviews for my second viewing of The

Added the review for Young Indy Chapter 20: The
Mystery of the Blues. Also added the Action Movie reviews.
November 16, 1999
Added the reviews to Ransom,
and The Bone Collector. I
also noticed that I had neglected to change my template when I started
making the movie reviews. The index bar at the top still said Previous/Next
Book. I changed the all the icons to Movie. Oops! Finally,
I added the SF movie reviews. Only Drama and Action left.
November 13, 1999
Added the
complete reviews of all the Comedy and Thriller movies. I only have
three sections left, and then it's just basically maintenance for this
web site! All the archiving will be done. I still want to tweak
the Star Wars Pages, though. That will come after I finish with the
Movie Drama, Action and SF sections.
November 12, 1999
Added the
review to the movie Anaconda, as well
as the reviews for the Animated and IMAX movies, and mini-series.
November 11, 1999

review to Harry Turtledove's Worldwar:
In the Balance science fiction novel. Updated the News
page.
November 5, 1999
Finished the Action and SF movie index
pages. Also added a page for the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.
It is barely begun, but as I acquire more of the videos, I will add to
it. Three of my favourite links changed this month! NASA, Ottawa
Movies, and Star Wars vs the World. I've updated them on my Links
page.
October 31, 1999
Added the reviews to The 34th
Rule and Crimson Empire.
Also added all the movie index pages, except for Action and Science Fiction.
The individual ratings pages for the movies will be up at a later time.
I have rearranged the site contents at the bottom of each index page.
It now takes up less vertical room.
October 24, 1999
Finally finished the Archives!
There are still a few things to do to make it more user-friendly, but the
content is finished. There were also a few additions to the Space
and Biography pages. The review for Wizard's
First Rule is up also. I tweaked the main index -I think I made
it easier to navigate, with less vertical scrolling. Added a page for Book
and Movie News, featuring, of course, only the news that I find relevant
to the books and movies that I enjoy.
October 19, 1999
Updated more of the Archive. Also added a book to the
"other" non-fiction page, and several to
the Space/ Astronomy page. I should
have the review for Wizard's First Rule up soon.
October 11, 1999
Updated about half of the books Archive.
Fiddled around with the Star Wars Manuals
page a little.
October 5, 1999
Completed all of the Book sections except for the archive. Added
images to the Star Trek books. Added the
missing links to the Links page.
October 1, 1999
Completed the SF A to L section. Added targets to the
SF, Biography, Space and Star Wars sections, for easier access from each
review page.
September 26, 1999

Completed the SF M to Z section. Added images to Stargate:
Reconnaissance (McCay) and Dragonlance:
The Second Generation (Weis and Hickman).
September 24, 1999
Finally put the web pages on-line.
All the Star Wars books, and a few from all the other categories.
No movies yet.
