An indentured alien species agree to help study Earth's Sun, where they find living aliens, and a conspiracy to discredit more than just the human race.

A good beginning, but a little slow near the middle. It wasn't apparent there was a mystery until the middle of the book, where that action made it a little more interesting. Overall, very good. I half expect to see the main character in the next uplift series.
